सागरः (Sāgaraḥ) – The Ocean
सागरः विशालः सर्वेभ्यः जलेभ्यः अधिकः अस्ति। अस्य प्रचुरा जीवजन्तवः वासन्ति जलचराः च। अनेकाः प्रजाः सागरे पार्वतीये देशे निवसन्ति, जीवन्ति, आनंदमनुभवन्ति। सागरे स्वयं जलं अनेकधा विभाजन्ति – समुद्र, खारः, लवणः, महासागरः इत्यादयः।
अस्मिन् विशाले सागरे अनेकानि प्रदीपानि उज्ज्वलं दीप्तिं प्रदत्तानि अस्ति। ये प्रदीपाः नक्षत्राणि विशेषतः चन्द्रः आकाशे प्रकाशयन्ति। चन्द्रस्य स्नेहात् सागरः रात्रिभागे शीतलं भवति। अत्र अनेके महासागराः जलाशयाः सन्ति, जिन्हेः अस्मिन् सागरे समुद्रस्य गहनता दृष्टिगोचरा नहि।
सागरस्य उच्चतमा भूमिः अप्य उच्चतमा अस्ति एवम् अनेका शैलाः, द्वीपाः च सागरे प्रस्थिताः असन्ति। अनेके पशवः जलं पिबन्ति, आहारं ग्रहणन्ति और अपने जीवन्तः सागरे सुखं निवसन्ति।
सागरः सृष्टिस्थितिसंहारक्रियायाः एकः महास्थानः अस्ति। सर्वे मनुष्याः सागरे अद्भुतं सौन्दर्यं, शान्तिं, एकाग्रतां अनुभवन्ति। अस्मिन् अद्भुते स्थाने सर्वे समयं चिन्तनाय ध्यानाय अर्पिताः भवन्ति।
सागरस्य अद्भुतं सौन्दर्यं अनुभूय यः मनुष्यः, स एव समग्रं विश्वं सौन्दर्यभूतं अनुभवन्ति। सागरे आत्मनं अद्भुतं अनुभूत्वा, व्यक्तिः समग्रे जीवने शान्तिं आनन्दं च प्राप्नोति।
इत्थं, सागरः अस्माकं प्राकृतिकं सौन्दर्यं, शान्तिं, आनन्दं प्रदत्त्वा, जीवने सागरस्य महत्वं अत्यन्तं उच्चं अस्ति।
English Translation:
The Ocean (Sāgaraḥ)
The ocean is vast and surpasses all other bodies of water. Numerous living beings, both aquatic and terrestrial, dwell in its abundance. Many communities reside near the ocean, deriving their livelihood and experiencing joy from its presence. The ocean itself is divided into various forms – sea, saline, brine, and the mighty ocean.
In this vast expanse, numerous islands and deep-sea creatures thrive. The ocean divides itself into different entities – seas, saltwater, brine, and the great oceans. Many radiant celestial bodies, especially stars and the moon, reflect their brilliance in the ocean, illuminating the night sky. Due to the affection of the moon, the ocean becomes cool during the night. There are also deep underwater reservoirs and mysteries within the ocean that remain unseen.
The highest mountains and numerous islands are situated in the ocean, creating a diverse and enchanting landscape. Various animals find sustenance in the ocean, making it a source of life and happiness for them.
The ocean serves as a grand stage for the cycles of creation, sustenance, and dissolution. All humans find the ocean to be a place of incredible beauty, tranquility, and focus. In this remarkable place, people engage in contemplation and meditation at all times.
