Poem On Gantantra Diwas In Sanskrit

भारतस्य सर्वेभ्यः संयुक्त राज्येभ्यः एकस्मिन दिने स्थापितः राजतंत्रदिनः, अस्मिन् दिने “गणतन्त्र दिवस” इति विख्यातः भवति। यः दिनः 26 जनवरी इति निर्दिष्टः, तस्याम् दिवसे भारतीय संघटना स्वीकृतिः अर्जिता भवति।

गणतन्त्र दिवसस्य समारम्भे राष्ट्रपतिः भारतीय संसदि सम्मिलितः होति एव च भूपृष्ठे परेषु समापनेषु एव दृश्यते। यह दिनः भारतीय गणराज्यस्य स्थापनाय स्मृतिस्वरूपः भवति एव च सम्पूर्ण राष्ट्रे बध्यते। इत्थम् गणतन्त्र दिवसः एकम् अत्यन्त महत्त्वपूर्णं घटनास्थलं भवति यः सम्पूर्ण भारतीय जनतायाः सह अभिवादनीयः होति।

Sanskrit Poem:

गणतन्त्रे समृद्धि-संवृद्धे, जननायक-प्रजाधिकृते।
स्वतंत्रतायां विशेषायां, राष्ट्रद्वयाय भारते॥

विराजते सुसंस्कृति-रूपे, सार्वभौमे सुस्थिते।
सर्वेभ्यः सुखिनो भवन्तु, गणराज्ये भारते॥

स्वतंत्रताया विजयेन, सुरक्षिता विश्वभूषणा।
भूतानां धर्म-संस्थाने, राज्ये राष्ट्रे भारते॥

प्रजासुखे समृद्धिषु, समृद्धे राज्ये राष्ट्रे च।
सर्वेभ्यः सुखिनो भवन्तु, गणराज्ये भारते॥

भारतस्य सर्वेऽपि प्रजाः, विविधाः सम्प्रदायवान्।
समृद्धिं गच्छन्तु सर्वे, समृद्धिषु गणराज्ये॥

English Translation:

In the prosperity of the Republic, under the leadership of the people,
For the sake of independence, in the special realm of the two nations, India shines.

In the form of rich culture, gloriously situated in the world,
May all be happy, in the Republic of the masses, in India.

With the victory of freedom, adorned as a global jewel,
In the abode of righteousness for all beings, in the state, in the nation, in India.

In the happiness of the people, in the prosperity of the state and the nation,
May all be happy in the Republic of the masses, in India.

In India, all people, with diverse traditions,
May they all attain prosperity in the Republic of the masses.
