सर्वेभ्यः नमः। बसन्तपञ्चम्याः सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः। अस्मिन् दिने विद्यार्थिनः विद्यायाः प्रतीकं सरस्वतीदेवीं पूजां कुर्वन्ति। सरस्वतीदेवी सर्वज्ञत्वे च विशेषतः पूजनीया। बसन्तपञ्चम्याः हिमसुते जायते रुक्मिणी सुन्दरीवती रूपेण च विक्रीयते। नीलोत्पलश्यामा सा सरस्वतीदेवी विद्याया विक्रीयते। सा सरस्वती वागदेवता च भवति। प्रतिवर्षे बसन्तपञ्चम्यां हिमक्षयाद्योगेन दिनमस्ति। तत्र सरस्वतीदेवी यजमानानुग्रहाय बलिं ग्राहयति। विद्यार्थिनः अपने अध्ययने सरस्वतीदेवीं प्रार्थन्ते। बसन्तपञ्चमियां मनोहरस्य सुरुचिरस्य सौन्दर्यस्य चावलोकनं कुर्वन्ति। वृत्तान्ते उषस्य रथस्य विक्रीया च समाप्ता भवति। विद्यार्थिनः तत्र सहाय्यं कुर्वन्ति अथवा शिक्षकानुवादेन विद्यायां प्रवृत्तिं कुर्वन्ति। बसन्तपञ्चम्यां यजमानाः विशेषतः सरस्वतीपूजां कुर्वन्ति। सुगंधिपुष्पैः विभूषितं च सरस्वतीमूर्तिं पूजायां निर्मितां कुर्वन्ति। विद्यार्थिनः विद्यायाः प्रतीकं पूरयन्ति अथवा विद्यायाः स्मृतिं पूरयन्ति। इत्थं बसन्तपञ्चम्यां योग्यः संस्कृतस्संस्कृतस्संस्कृतविद्यार्थिभ्यः प्रेष्यताम्। सर्वेषामस्तु।
